Descamex's Mountain Water Decaf process is one of the few organically certified decaffeinated systems in the world that safely decaffeines without using any chemical solvents. We accept 5,000kg of coffee per batch, and are able to produce certified organic, transparent cherries right up to the final product.

The Mountain Water decaffeinated process uses pure natural water from Chiapas, soaking the raw beans in water that is saturated with all the other components of coffee except for caffeine, selectively removing only the caffeine. Since only the caffeine is removed (99.9%), you can enjoy the original aroma and flavor of the coffee without losing it. It is a safe decaffeinated process that uses only natural water and does not use any chemical catalysts.
