Finca Santa Teresa is located in the district of Campo Redondo, Luya province, Amazonas department, approximately 5 hours from the city center. The Amazonas department, where the Amazon rainforest and the Andes Mountains meet, boasts a rich and diverse ecosystem. This unique and abundant natural environment of Amazonas gives the farm's coffee its distinct character.
The journey to the farm takes you past the Huaylla Belen mountain range and the Gran Vilaya ruins, offering breathtaking scenery woven with history and nature. Just 10 minutes from the town of Campo Redondo, on the right bank of the mighty Marañón River, Finca Santa Teresa is situated at an altitude of 1,700m. Finca Santa Teresa, with its slopes and open plains, is alive with vibrant nature, home to many indigenous plants and wild animals, showing different expressions throughout the year.
The microclimate unique to this region provides an ideal environment for cultivating specialty coffee, producing wonderful flavors that reflect the land's individuality. Among these, the Geisha variety, known for its high quality and complex flavor, also possesses the unique character produced by the micro-lots of this area, making it an emblematic presence for Finca Santa Teresa.

Continuous Learning and Challenge

Andres owns about 3 hectares of land and first began cultivating the Geisha variety in 2018. Coffee cultivation for him symbolizes learning, dedication, and continuous growth. Through the Cup of Excellence project, coffee has become more than just a job; it has become a source of pride for his entire family and brings deep fulfillment.
Harvesting takes place from June to July, where fully ripe cherries are selected. Subsequently, after anaerobic fermentation in tanks, slow drying is carried out for 30 to 50 days in a cool environment, further enhancing the fruit-derived sweetness and complexity, resulting in a profound flavor.
The lot that won the Cup of Excellence this time is Andres's life itself, filled with continuous learning and challenges. Please enjoy this special lot, brimming with his passion and experience.

PERU CUP OF EXCELLENCE 2025

The International Jury for the 2025 Peru Cup of Excellence was held from November 4th to 7th in Chachapoyas, Amazonas. Out of 276 entries, 40 lots that passed the national selection advanced to the international judging stage the following week. Three rounds of international judging were conducted: the 1st round, 2nd round, and a Final round with the top 10. As a result, 30 lots that scored 87 points or higher were crowned with the 2025 Cup of Excellence.
The auction held late at night from December 2nd to 3rd, 2025, saw a flurry of bids from buyers worldwide immediately after it began, concluding successfully in a vibrant atmosphere.
