TOP LOT COLLECTION:NEW CROP 2025

Finca El Injerto

El Injerto is now one of the most famous farms in specialty coffee. Its name first came to international prominence at the 2002 Guatemala Cup of Excellence. Out of 33 winning farms, two of its entries were nominated, and one immediately secured third place in its debut. This coffee, with its brilliance, floral notes, and rare flavor, has captivated people worldwide ever since. In the 2008 COE, it finally took first place, and its price of $80.20 per pound set a new record for the highest transaction price in Guatemala COE history.

The first owner of this farm, Jesús Aguirre, started the farm in 1874. He began by cultivating sugarcane and tobacco leaves, and started growing coffee in 1900. "Injerto" is named after a fruit native to the area. Currently, the 3rd and 4th generations of the Aguirre family have been managing the farm since 1956, making it widely known as one of the world's leading coffee farms in both name and reality.

Injerto Pacamara Variety

This Pacamara was planted by Arturo Aguirre approximately 25 years ago. He reportedly traveled directly to El Salvador to acquire this Pacamara. At the time, buyers were not fond of the exotic flavors of Pacamara, and farms that purchased and planted it were considered unusual. Consequently, it was very difficult for Mr. Aguirre to sell it, and he often had to sell it bundled with Bourbon or at a discount. Arturo Aguirre reflects on those times, noting how times have changed.

Patagonia Lot

This is a relatively new lot compared to other areas, located at the highest altitude on El Injerto, between 1750-1900m. Since its initial planting, various varieties have been experimentally produced here, not only Pacamara but also Bourbon and Gesha, to verify the characteristics of different varieties and explore their potential.
The Pandora lot is famous for its Pacamara, which gained renown after breaking records at auctions. The Pandora lot is the original area where Pacamara was grown, facing a west-sloping hillside, which they describe as their representative and ideal sun exposure conditions. It remains a representative lot for El Injerto's Pacamara to this day.
The Patagonia lot, having matured over the years since its planting, now boasts a richer flavor than before. It has developed into a Pacamara that distinctly offers the brightness and freshness characteristic of high altitudes. They hope people will experience the diversity of flavors across different lots.
